Edward Green, Sr.

Edward Eugene Green, Sr., 56, of Dallas, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on December 31, 1964, in Gaston County, to Mary Nell Cole Rickettson and the late Joseph Monroe Green.

Edward always said he preached his own funeral. He cared about people and loved his family but he was afraid he didn't always show it.

The family would like to thank all of the workers of Hospice Lincolnton for their care and kindness.

Left to cherish Edward's memories are his mother, Mary Rickettson; sons, Michael Pruitt, Joshua Pruitt, and Junior Green; daughter, Stacy Blecker; sisters, Jodie Phillips and Rebecca Green Morales; and several beloved grandchildren.

A celebration of a new life will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm at the home of Rebecca Morales – 311 S Holland St., Dallas, NC.
