Edward Michael Setzer

Edward Michael Setzer, 65, of Mount Holly, NC, passed away October 15, 2022 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas, NC.

He was born July 17, 1957, in Gaston County, NC, to Bobby Ray Setzer, Sr., and the late Elizabeth Ann Bishop.

Edward was a welder at Red Valve for many years.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and he was an avid coin collector.

In addition to his mother, Edward was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby and Steven Setzer: and sister, Patricia McCarthy.

In addition to his father, Edward is survived by his son, Michael Kimsey and wife Nicole; daughter, Cassie Dow and husband Charles; sister, Deborah Guy and husband Lewis; grandchildren, Felicia, Samantha, and Crystal Dow, Jasmine Galica, Colin Circosta-Aspinall, Diane Circosta-Aspinall, and Logan Kimsey; and great-grandchild, Lorenzo Allen.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022, between 5:00 and 7:00 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service.
