Edward Lamar Seagle

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Edward Lamar Seagle's passing on October 24, 2025. Born on February 24, 1947, in Gaston County, North Carolina, Edward lived a life filled with simple joys and cherished moments. He called Gastonia, NC, home and was known for his warm spirit and friendly smile.

Edward spent his working years at Firestone Mill supply room, where he was well-respected by his colleagues. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Theresa "Terri" Seagle; his parents, Edward Eugene and Ina Wooten Seagle; and his son, Brian Seagle; stepson Hal Bennett, brother, Ricky Seagle, sister, Nancy Tignor; brother-in-law, Paul Tignor, who now joins them in Heaven.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Kim Richardson (James) and Allison Seagle (Logan); step-daughter, Kimberly Funk (Brian); grandchildren, Kyndall, Gracie, Tori, Briah and Jett; brother, Chris Seagle (Kim), nephew, Travis Seagle (Christy), niece, Penny Tignor, may great nieces and great nephews who carries forward his legacy of love and resilience.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm Friday, November 14, 2025, at Gaston Memorial Park 1200 South New Hope Road Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Josh Glandon.

Rest in peace, Edward. You will be missed, but your spirit will always remain in our hearts.
