Edward Priest

Edward C. Priest, Sr., 81, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022, in Albuquerque , NM.

He was born June 2, 1940, in Rockingham, NC, son of the late Thomas Priest and Corrina Priest.

Edward was a minister of the gospel, and former pastor of several churches.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Woodside; and brother, Dewey Priest.

Edward is survived by his son, Cliff Priest; brothers, Ray Priest, and Mendel Priest; and sister, Geneva Boyer.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Bobby Gilley, will be held 3pm on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
