Edward Cain Evans, 82, of Dallas, passed away July 13, 2017 at Alexandria Place.
He was born February 12, 1935, in Haywood County, the son of the late Cain and Lennie Evans.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 54 years, Sadie Poarch Evans; daughter, Lesa Johnson; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
All services are private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gaston Hospice, PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
