Edward "Ed" Charles Dingman

Edward "Ed" Charles Dingman, 94, of Gastonia, passed away November 12, 2020 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain, NC.

He was born July 1, 1926 in Scholarie County, NY.

Ed was a member of Promise Land Baptist Church in Gastonia.  He proudly served in the US Navy during World War II.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Dingman and Charlie Deen; a grandchild, Melissa Clark Holland; a sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Charlie Kimbell; and a brother and sister-in-law, Lynn and Jean Dingman.

Ed is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rosa Lee Dingman; three sons, Fred P. Dingman, Michael Deen and wife Kirtrena, and Frankie Ferrell and wife Joann; two daughters, Linda Deen Clark and husband Jerry, and Tammy Deen Parlapiano and husband, John; a niece, Sandy Wells and husband Jim; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

All services are private.
