Edna Inez Hodge

Inez Hodge, 96, of Gastonia, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023, at the Greens of Gastonia.

She was born September 17, 1926, in Gaston County to the late Ralph and Edna Robinson Pressley.

Inez attended Bright Light Baptist Church in Bessemer City, NC.  She loved the Atlanta Braves and the Carolina Panthers. Above all she loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Troy "Coot" Hodge; brothers, Ray Pressley, Joe Pressley; sisters, Faye D'Etcheverry, Margie Clinton, Irene Glover, Peggy Watts.

Inez is survived by her son, Charles "Butch" Hodge and wife Pam; daughter Debbie Hodge Bingham and husband Steve; grandchildren, Jill Bingham, Ben Bingham and wife Christy, Phil Hodge and wife Christa, William Hodge and wife, Lynne; great-grandchildren, Bella Bingham, Molly Hodge, Jon Hodge, Tom Hodge.

A graveside service officiated by Bishop David Caldwell will be held, Wednesday, June 7, 2023, 3:00 PM at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, NC.
