Edna Ellington Brown, 91, of Blacksburg, SC, passed away, Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Accordius Health, Gastonia.
She was born, January 26, 1929, a native of Gaston County, NC, daughter of the late Ray David Ellington and Velma Thomas.
Edna retired from the Gaston County School system after 30 years of service.
In addition to his parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Brown; brothers, Jack Ellington and Thomas Ellington; and sisters, Daphne Adams and Faye Mincey.
She is survived by her sister, Ruth Heafner.
All services are private at this time.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
