Edith Finch Price

Dallas, NC –

Edith Finch Price, age 89, entered her Eternal Home in Heaven on January 19, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was a Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great-Great-Grandmother and Mother-In-Law, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.  She was born May 23, 1928 in McCall, South Carolina, daughter of the late William B. Finch and Ida Poston Finch Simmons.  Survivors include daughters Midge Brown and husband Jerry, Claudia Mills and husband Jim, Cynthia Mathis and husband David.  Six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands Claude J. Welborn Jr. and David Price, brothers Willis B. Finch and Joseph F. Finch, stepfather Henry G. Simmons, and three Sons-In-Law.  A Private family committal will be officiated by Pastor Sandy Bozeman at Hardin Baptist Church Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Victory Hill Baptist Church located at 2300 Philadelphia Church Road Dallas, N.C. 28034 or Gaston Hospice PO Box 3984 Gastonia N.C. 28054.  Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia is serving the family.
