Edith Lang Hill

Edith Lang Hill, 84, went home to be with the Lord on September 15, 2020 at home.  She was born May 28, 1936 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Johnny and Ruby Lang.

Edith worked at Caldwell Drug Store and Akers Pharmacy before her retirement.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  Her faith, family, and friends were very important to her.

She is survived by her son, Earl J. Hill Jr., and wife Mary; grandsons E.J. Hill III and wife Jennifer; Chip Sigmon and wife Amanda; great-grand-daughters Taylor Sigmon, Kalyn and Miley Hill; great-grandson Phoenix Sigmon; great-great grandchildren Ryott and Willow; special friends Julia Livengood and Ann Brown.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl J. Hill Sr.; brothers, Jack, Alvin, and Henry Lang.

A private graveside service will be held at Gaston Memorial Park.
