Eddie Dean West

Eddie "Little Eddie" West, 42, of Gastonia, NC, passed away at his home on September 24, 2024.

He was born in Gaston County, NC, on March 25, 1982, to Tommie "Big Eddie" West and the late Joyce West.

Little Eddie was an avid dirt track fan. You would often see him at Carolina Speedway, East Lincoln Speedway, and Cherokee (SC) Speedway. He was always so full of life and happy. He had a big heart and was always the life of the party. He made friends every where he went. He loved to fish, especially at the "Hot Hole" in Belmont.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his sisters, Joni Castro, Amy Lowrimore and husband Jacob; a niece, Audrey; nephews, Alex, William, Jeremiah, and Chaise; and his girlfriend, Cheryl Murphy.

The family will announce a service to celebrate Little Eddie's life will be announced at a later date.
