Eddie Mae Ford

Eddie Mae Ford, 66, of Mt. Holly, NC, passed away, Sunday, September 20, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born January 11, 1954 in York Co, SC, daughter of the late William Nie Bigham and Corine Kendall Bigham.

In addition to her parents, she preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth "Libby" Lyles and Patricia "Pat" Chapman.

Eddie is survived by her husband, Jerry William Hughes; son, Franklin Glenn Dyer and Jody Eugene Dyer; brothers-in-law, Richard Chapman and Buck Lyles Sr.; sisters-in-law, Michelle Smith and Teresa Moone; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, Tammy Chapman, Amy Childers; nephew, Randy Lyles Sr.; nieces, Diane Chapman, Terri Tate and Wendy Bradshaw; and many great-nieces and nephews.

All services are private.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
