Ed Rudisill

Ed Rudisill, 76, of Gastonia, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 3, 1946, in Gaston County, to the late Edmon and Etta Rudisill.

Ed was an Air Force Veteran who served in Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing, golf, kayaking, and anything outdoors. He was a home remodeling enthusiast and enjoyed flipping houses. He loved his dog "Teddy".

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Gary Conrad.

Ed is survived by his wife, Shirley Rudisill; daughter, Penny Almond (Randy), sister, Andrea Conrad; grandson, Justin Almond (Ashlyn).

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Chris Stadler, will be held at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Services on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 2:00 PM.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be Monday, January 9, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Gaston Memorial Park.
