Earl Jennings Phillips, 84, of Gastonia, passed away at the Robin Johnson Hospice House of Gaston County on October 7, 2023.
Earl was born on August 9, 1939, in St. Pauls, NC.
Earl is survived by his wife, Diane, of 30 years. He is also survived by his daughters Joy (Robert) Litton and Jodie (Timothy) O'Brien and stepson Jason (Lisa) Phillips, seven grandchildren and his sister, Ann Herndon.
Earl was a graduate of NCSU with a BS in Textiles. Before retiring in 2000, Earl was with Pharr Yarns for 25 years as VP of carpet sales.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Donations, in his honor, can be made to the Robin Johnson Hospice House of Gaston County or to Myers Memorial Methodist Church of Gastonia, NC.
