Earl Gentry Hall, Sr.

Earl Gentry Hall, Sr., 67, of Gastonia, passed away February 25, 2015 at Kings Mountain Hospital. He was born February 23, 1948 native of Gaston County, son of the late Luther Hall and Ruby McConnell. Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Jimmy Hall, Earl "PeeWee" Hall Jr. and fiancée Amy Piner; daughters, Teresa Reed and husband, Wes, and Nancy Truitt; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Gracie Hall Foster and brothers, Charlie, Marvin "Bud", Larry and Mike Hall. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Arlie Roten. The family will receive friends 1:00 - 3:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
