E. J. "Mike" Kromis, Jr.

E. J. "Mike" Kromis, Jr., 89, of Dallas, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at the Ivy of Gastonia.

Born on January 28, 1932, in Jefferson County, AL, to the late Emanuel J. Kromis, Sr. and Catherine Lucille Foster Kromis

In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Kromis Manry, Mary Catherine Kromis; brother, Stephen George Kromis, Theodore Kromis, Andrew Gilbert Kromis, and Roger James Kromis; son, Michael "Johnny" Kromis; and grandson, Michael Bennett.

Left to cherish Mike's memories are his sister, Matilda Evelyn Kromis, Montclair VA; brother, Thomas Patrick Kromis, Galveston TX; daughter, Vicky Kromis Bennett, Wilson NC; son, Fredrick Michael Kromis (Jill), Dallas NC; granddaughter, Kyla Jane Kromis, Dallas NC; grandson, Kaden Michael Kromis, Dallas NC; granddaughter, Caitlin Pope, Lake Mary FL; and great grandson, Ashton Pope, Lake Mary FL.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, January 10, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.

The family will receive friends 30 mins prior to the service at the funeral home.
