Dwight devoted much of his time and resources to helping those in need and took great joy in blessing the less fortunate. He enjoyed missionary work both locally and abroad. One of his favorite memories was participating in a toy run to children in the Appalachian Mountains. He also took great joy in going on a mission trip to Guatemala with the missionary team at Community Pentecostal Center in Stanley, NC. Dwight proudly purchased and restored an old bread truck, which he used to serve food to the homeless and those in need.
Dwight worked in HVAC for 58 years. He owned his own company for many years and taught countless individuals the trade. Dwight was loved by many and was a generous man. He loved his family with all of his heart, but more importantly, Dwight loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Dwight most recently attended South Gastonia Church of God in Gastonia. He attended Community Pentecostal Center in Stanley for 20 years and served as head deacon. He will be greatly missed, but Heaven is sweeter now because he is there.
