Dwight Allen Conner, 66, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain, NC.
He was born on April 8, 1954 in Gaston County, NC to the late Clone and Lucille Conner.
Dwight retired from FMC-Lithium in Bessemer City, NC after 42 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Jack Conner.
Dwight is survived by his loving wife of over 19 years, Betty Heavener Conner; a son, Jimmy Allen and wife Casey; two grandchildren, Hailee and Logan Allen; and two sisters, Nancy Hughes and Annette Vause.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 pm at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Road, Gastonia, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, Testa Family Hospice House, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service.
