Drucilla Theresa Harrison

Drucilla Theresa Harrison, 81, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Peak Resources in Cherryville.

She was born in Gaston County on September 2, 1941, to the late Henry and Helen Summitt.

Drucilla attended Good News Tabernacle in Bessemer City before becoming homebound. She sung for the Lord for many years and was a prayer warrior. She enjoyed gardening and her animals.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy F. Harrison; sons, Allen Wayne Harrison, and Roy F. Harrison Jr.; brother, James A. Summitt.

Drucilla is survived by her son, Roger Treadway and wife Beverly, grandson, Nathan A. Treadway; brother, Paul E, Summitt.

A funeral service officiated by Rev. Ray Goodson, will be held, 2:00PM on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the funeral service at Gaston Memorial Park.
