Dr.Teresa Worthy

Dr. Teresa Worthy, 55, of Dallas, NC passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born December 8, 1965, in Guilford County, NC, daughter of Bunzie Harrison Benge and the late Bobby Benge.

Dr. Worthy attended Bethel Baptist Church. She was a member and past president of IAAP and NCCIA. Dr. Worthy was an Instructor at Gaston College and a part-time Instructor at Belmont Abbey College.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of over 8 years, Randy Murphy; son, Kyle Worthy and wife Emily; and numerous close cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 South York Road, Gastonia.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City, NC.
