Dottie Hagans Palmer, 81, of Clover, went to be with the Lord June 11, 2017 at The Robin Johnson House in Dallas.
She was born February 20, 1936 in Lincoln County, the daughter of the late Albert Vernon Hagans and Emma Dovie Sisk.
Dottie was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Gastonia for 26 years. Dottie enjoyed cooking. She loved God, her family, church family and friends.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband for over 50 years, Roy Palmer; son, Tim Palmer; daughters, Becky Phillips, Sheila Hallbrook and husband Jim; sisters Lou Hodge, Sue Whitworth, Vickie Smith and husband Jeanks; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Vernon and Stevie Hagans.
The family will receive friends 6 - 8 pm Tuesday, June 13th at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Forrest Hennessee will be held 11 am Wednesday at Landmark Baptist Church, 311 Archie Whitesides Rd, Gastonia.
Her final resting place will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont.
