Dot Chandler Shuford, 95, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Caromont Regional Center.
She was born on May 18, 1929, in Draper, NC, to the late Macus and Ollie Chandler.
Dot is survived by her son, James Russell Cape; sisters, Minerva Stainback (John), Glenda Brittian (Don), Geraldine Harris (Eddie).
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Shuford; and her two children, Glenn Cape and Richard Cape.
funeral service, officiated by Rev. John Stainback, will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025, 11:00 AM, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, NC.
The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.
