Dorothy Dunlap May

Dorothy May, 72, of Gastonia, passed away at home on April 29, 2020.

She was born in Moore County, NC to the late Joe and Ivy Gardener Dunlap.

Dorothy was a member of Stanley Pentecostal Church in Stanley, NC.  She was also involved for many years with the March of Dimes.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Seeley.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James May; sons, David Seeley and wife Audra, Charlie May and wife Tonya, and Chad May and wife Crystal; three sisters; one brother; grandchildren, Stephen Seeley and wife Olivia, Sean Seeley, Brittany Taylor and husband Justin, Olivia Craig and husband Sean, Wyatt May, Tristan May, Savannah May, Mason May, Shelby May, Colby May, and Taylor May; great-granchildren, Grey Taylor, Joshua Seeley, Harper Craig, and Heath Craig; and special friends Allan and Donnie Wooten.

A private memorial service will be held.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
