Dorothy Sayes Martin

Dorothy Sayes Martin, 95, of Dallas, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Atrium in Shelby.

She was born in Pineville, LA, to the late Newsom and Tessie Sayes on January 7, 1928.

Dorothy was a member of Dallas Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Johnson; sons, Vann Johnson, Douglas Johnson, Ricky Johnson; sisters, Willie Lee Winget, Bobbie Jean Sanderson; brother, Marion Sayes.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Jerry Johnson; and daughter, Ann Deal; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
