Dorothy Thompson Kinley

Dorothy Thompson Kinley, 75, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away April 24, 2017 at CMC – Main in Charlotte.

She was born May 30, 1941 in Cherokee County, TN, the daughter of the late James Marion Thompson and Mildred Leoma Womble Thompson.

Dorothy loved her family and will be missed dearly.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons Wayne and Mark Kinley and daughter Wanda McCall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Charles Kinley and daughter Sandra Stiles.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Friday, April 28, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Revs. James Drennan and Jimmy Maney.

The family will receive friends 1 – 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
