Lincolnton, NC Dorothy "Dot" Kimray, 92, formerly of Belmont, passed away May 6, 2013 at the Heath House, Lincolnton. She was born November 13, 1920 in Scotland County, daughter of the late Neal Cleveland and Esther Hall Ledbetter. Mrs. Kimray was a loyal wife, loving mother and grandmother. For many years she played the piano for various churches. Dot was a member of Crossroads Wesleyan Church, Belmont and a former member of Goshen Presbyterian Church, North Belmont. The family wishes to thank Myra Clark, staff at Hospice of Lincoln County and her family at the Heath House. A celebration of Dot's life will be held 2:00 pm on Wednesday at Crossroads Wesleyan Church in Belmont, officiated by Revs. Bill Pharr and Joe Harding. The family will receive friends from 7:00 -9:00 pm on Tuesday at the church. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Belmont. She is survived by: sons, Michael Kimray and spouse, Linda of Lincolnton, Reggie Kimray and spouse, Donna of Gastonia; daughters, Dolores Stalvey and spouse, Horace of Milton, DE, Karen Hellard and spouse, Ronnie of Stanley; sisters, Elizabeth Cook, Helen Russell; 14 grandchildren and numerous great and great- great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband of 54 years, James Kimray; sons, James Kimray Jr. and Donald Kimray; grandchildren, Joey and Greg Stalvey; great grandson, Tyler Eddy; brother, Alvin Lee Ledbetter; sisters, Thelma Frye, Mary Belle Pennington and Bernice Burris.
