Dorothy Ward Jones, 85, of Kings Mountain, passed away June 11, 2018.
She was born October 20, 1932 in Rutherford County, the daughter of the late Wesley Monroe Ward and Pansy Ray Ward.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years Gettys Jones.
A graveside service will be held 11 am Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, 3400 Dallas Cherryville Hwy., Dallas, with Pastor Roger Overton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Gaston Hospice, PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
