Dorothy Colleen Farmer

Dorothy Colleen Farmer, 88, of Clover, SC, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at Pruitt Health in Rock Hill SC.

She was born December 14, 1927 in Chatham County and was the daughter of the late Dewey and Mazie Whitt.

Dorothy was loved by her family. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son Tommy Farmer and wife Cynthia; daughter, Jennie Crisp; brothers, Donald Whitt, C.D. Whitt; 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Tom Farmer.

A funeral service will be held 3pm on Tuesday at Salem Baptist Church 1534 Rolling Meadow Lane Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Junior Morris.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be held at Gaston Memorial Park.
