Dorothy "Dot" Cagle Bumgardner

Dorothy "Dot" Cagle Bumgardner, 70, of Gastonia, went to be with the Lord, January 25, 2022, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.

She was born July 4, 1951, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Ernest Cagle and Annie Smith Cagle.

She was a member of Independent Baptist Tabernacle, Dallas.

Dot loved the Lord, her church and her church family.

She was a former secretary of Bright Light Baptist Church.

She loved her family and was deeply devoted to them.

She enjoyed gardening.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm February 1, 2022, at Independent Baptist Tabernacle Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Brian Spargo.

Dot is survived by her loving husband of over 48 years, Jimmy Bumgardner; son, Stoney Bumgardner and wife Stacey; daughters, Jennifer Yarbrough and husband Drew, Lindsey Buff and husband Jeremiah; sister, Vanessa Rector; grandchildren, Hunter Bumgardner, Walker Bumgardner McKenna Yarbrough, Irelyn Buff & Abigail Buff.
