Doris Mulkey

Doris Mulkey, 82, of Dallas, NC, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, at her residence.

She was born December 31, 1942, a native of Gaston Co, daughter of the late Giles Truett and Margaret Truett.

Doris was devoted and loved her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed thrift shopping, yard sales, and antique shops.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her life partner, David Herron, and several brothers and sisters.

Doris is survived by her son, Jeffery "Todd" Chatham; daughter, Teresa Penland (Ricky); sister, Bertha Lee Pace; grandchildren, Justin Penland, and Max Penland (Alicia); great-grandchildren, Emilia, Harvey, and Oakley Penland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

All services are private.
