Donnie Maier Stowe, 61, died peaceably March 11, 2017. Born August 3, 1955, he was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Maier Stowe and Gladys Tucker Hardman. Mr. Stowe was a lifelong resident of Mt. Holly, NC. An avid golfer, he played throughout his life, and also enjoyed cheering NASCAR races and Tar Heel basketball.

Mr. Stowe is survived by his wife, Victoria H. Stowe, and children, Scott and Anne, of the home. His children were his deepest joy. Debbie S. Bolick, sister, predeceased Mr. Stowe. Brothers Dean and Dale Stowe of Mt. Holly, and sister, Denise Stowe of Savannah, GA, as well as nieces, nephews, and friends will all miss his laughter and joking demeanor.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Levine Cancer Institute, Charlotte, NC or Holy Angels of Belmont, NC. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 2 pm at Second Baptist Church, 740 Rankin Avenue, Mt. Holly, NC. Refreshments will be served as the family receives friends following the service.
