Donnie Hoten Inman

Donnie Hoten Inman, born June 19, 1952, at the age of 72, passed away on January 31, 2025. He had a heart of gold, but his physical heart could not keep up with how much love he had to give. A devoted Jehovah's Witness, Donnie lived his life with faith and kindness, always bringing joy to those around him.

Born to the late Dorlis "Dot" Laverne Inman Massie and Cedric Hoten Inman, Donnie was originally from Waynesville, NC, but later made his home in Gastonia, NC. He had a remarkable sense of humor and was always the character, making those around him laugh. A caring father, he always sought the best for his two daughters and cherished every moment spent with family.

Donnie was an adventurer at heart, never missing a chance to ride roller coasters at Carowinds or to go camping in the mountains. He loved playing golf and riding his motorcycle, embracing life with enthusiasm and excitement.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved daughters, Stephanie Inman Wheeler and Heather Chase Inman (Christopher Eanes); his granddaughter, Brittany Renee Jackson; his great-grandchildren, Maverick James, Amelia Renee, and Everest Chase; his brothers, Darrell Edwin Inman (Julie) and Carroll Matthew Inman (Cherri); stepmother Virgie Inman and several other loving family members. His warmth, humor, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral arrangements will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses North Congregation, located at 2065 Overhead Bridge Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052. Family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m., and the funeral will begin at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice or to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
