Donnie Bridges

Donnie Bridges, 73, of Gastonia, passed peacefully on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the Robin Johnson House, Dallas, NC.

He was born May 28, 1947, a native of Gaston Co, NC, son of the late Burgan Crawford Bridges and Lillian Inell McAbee Bridges.

Donnie enjoyed country music, trips to the Cherokee Mountains and being outdoors. He was a family man with loads of love for his grandbabies.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Donnie Ray Bridges.

Donnie is survived by his companion of 9 years, Janice Lay; son, Terry Bridges and wife Alaina; daughters, Darlene Schoener and husband Chris and Kim Morris and husband Mike; former wife, Bonnie Bridges; grandchildren, Allison Myers and husband Josh, Jessica Bridges, Olivia Schoener, Krisden Schoener, Logan Morris and Jazlee Bridges; and great-grandchildren, Spencer Myers and Ethan Myers.

All services are private.
