Donna Renee Starrett Black

Dallas, NC Donna Renee` Starrett Black, age 54, passed away November 11, 2013 at her home. She was born September 20, 1959 in Gastonia, daughter of the late Bobby Gene and Betty Jo Eller Starrett. Mrs. Black loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed the Holidays, especially Christmas and making crafts. Services are private. She is survived by: her husband and high school sweetheart, Dwight Black of the home; daughters, Alethea Eller, Anna Eller both of Gastonia; step-daughter, Tosha Black of Norway, SC; siblings, Eddie Starrett of Cramerton, Dodie Benfield of Gastonia, Rob Starrett of Greensboro, Tracy Travers of Gastonia; mother and father in-law, Beatrice and Clyde Rayfield of McAdenville; close family friend, Troy Hester of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Dylan Hester, Gage Hester, Keagan Eller, Madison Eller, Chloe Queen, Kerinia Black, Joshua Black. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a step-son, Joshua Dwight Black. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 222 S. Church St., Suite 303, Charlote, NC 28202.
