Donna Elaine Mitchell

Donna Elaine Mitchell, 66, of Gastonia, passed away July 27, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was born October 19, 1950, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late Frank Aston Jolly and Betty Philbeck Jolly.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 49 years, David Mitchell; son, Shane Mitchell; daughter Candice Mitchell; grandchildren, Tori Hall, Cheyenne Mitchell and Colton Brock.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Danny, Mike, Frank "Buster" and Blair Jolly.

The family wishes to say a special thanks to the Payne family.

A celebration of life service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
