Donna Faye Maney

Donna Faye Maney,70, of Lowell, passed away May 15, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 19, 1947, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late Leonard Owensby and Betty Jo Owensby Baldock.

Donna was a loving mother and devoted wife.  She was formerly employed in the supply department at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband John Maney Jr.; daughter Julie Carpenter and husband Randall; sons Mark Maney and wife Angie, John Maney III; brothers Thomas Baldock and Calvin Owensby; sisters Janice Auten and Jill Dominy; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Roy Baldock and daughter Teresa Maney.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Dorothy Lowery.

Visitation will be held 12:30 – 2 pm Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Gardens.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
