The family will receive friends 1:00 - 1:45 prior to the service at the funeral home A service of remembrance will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia officiated by the Rev. Jerry Millwood Interment will be at Allen Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, Grover. Mrs. Green is survived by: her mother, Margaret A. Baynard; daughter, Kimberly J. Burkett; daughter in- law, Jessica Burkett; brothers, Bobby and Douglas Collins; sisters, Phyllis Dellinger, Susan Stalcup, Wanda Baynard, Sherri Allen; six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: husband, Ronald Green; son, John Burkett Jr.; sister, Linda Gail Collins; stepfather, Cling Baynard. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
