Donald Wayne Braddy, Sr.

Donald Wayne Braddy, Sr., 65, of Smyre, passed away June 13, 2012, at 1:40 pm at Gaston Memorial Hospital. He was born September 3, 1946 in Gaston County, son of the late Ray Harold and Ruby Camp Braddy. A funeral service will be held 2:30 on Monday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Angela Hollar. The family will receive friends 7-9 pm on Sunday at the funeral home. The interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. He is survived by: his wife, Polly Graham Braddy; sons, Donald Braddy Jr., Duane Braddy; daughter, Pam Braddy; brothers, Dennis Braddy, Jack Braddy, Scott Braddy; sisters, Pat Harbin, Shirley Baker; grandchildren, Melissa Holder, Heather Braddy, Evan Braddy; great grandchildren, Brinley, Ragan, Cadence and Calista Holder, Tyler Revels . In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: great granddaughter, Paisley Braddy, daughter of Heather Braddy; grandparents, Garland and Lacy Camp.
