Donald Joe Rector

Donald Joe Rector, 60, of Iron Station, North Carolina, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022, in Gastonia, NC.

He was born June 15, 1962, in Gaston County to the late Robert and Faye Rector.

Donald was a veteran of the US Army. He loved motorcycles. He was a member of CBA in Charlotte; he had a side by side that he loved riding on trails. Donald was a machinist by trade.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Rector, and his brother, Ronnie Rector.

Donald is survived by his sons; Brett Rector, John Rector (Jessica Rogers), two grandchildren; Chandler and Abagail Rector, sister; Barbara "Bob" Kibler (Tom); and other family members, dear friends and loved ones.

Special thanks to friends Sue Nevins, Kenneth Croft and Carolina Caring of Gastonia for the excellent care they provided Donnie in the final stages of his life's journey.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 12, 2022, at In the Wind Bar and Grill, 15800 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078.

The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service is serving the Rector family.
