Donald Mauney

Gastonia, NC Donald Mauney, age 59, passed away April 10, 2013, at The Robin Johnson House, Dallas. He was born November 17, 1953 in Gaston County, son of the late Jerry Biven Mauney and Ida Mae Buchanan Mauney. A memorial service will be held 12 - 2 pm on Saturday at First Assembly of God, 777 Myrtle School Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Dennis Boyce. He is survived by: his children and their spouses, Melissa Spurrier of Gastonia, Tammy and Dennis Burgess of Blacksburg, SC, Jerry and Natasha Mauney of Kings Mountain, Brittany Mauney of Gastonia; brother and sister in-law, Roger and Pamela Mauney of Bessemer City; grandchildren, Trey, Kristen and Alex Burgess, Michael and Ryan Spurrier, Connor Mauney, Cameron, Lathan and Mason McCurry; 7 great grandchildren; nephew, Wesley Mauney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a brother, Larry Mauney. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, The Robin Johnson House, P. O.
