Donald "Bubby" Lee Hagerman Jr.

Donald "Bubby" Lee Hagerman Jr., 61, of Bessemer City, passed away October 10, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, following a lengthy illness.

He was born July 27, 1962, in Hampton Virginia, son of the late Donald Lee Hagerman Sr. and Christine Dunford Hagerman.

Donald was a loving husband, father, pawpaw, son, brother and friend.

A man of the Christian faith and he was a true believer. The only thing more beautiful than his heart is his blue eyes.

All services will be private.

Donald is survived by his wife, Ginger Blankenship; sons, Lee Hagerman (April), Joshua Anderson; sister, Jennifer Dunsford (Rick); daughters, Lolly Sempler (AJ), Danah Al-Subagha; granddaughters, Evie Sempler, Emma Hagerman; grandson, Kayson Hagerman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Collis; and his favorite cat, Smokey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis Tennessee 38105.
