Donald Lee Gallop, 67, of Gastonia, passed away August 27, 2012, at Brian Center Health & Rehab., Gastonia. He was born December 31, 1944 in Mineral Wells, TX, son of the late Rueben and Genevieve West Gallop. Mr. Gallop retired from Wix Corporation after 35 years of service. Services are private He is survived by: half sisters, Patricia Wright of Jacksonville, FL, Cathy Ray and husband, Bobby of Gastonia; niece, Lorna Post and husband, Roger of Clara City, Minn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: step-mother, Myrtle Gallop; son, Donnie Gallop. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
