Donald Larry Glaze

Donald Larry Glaze, 84, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Stanley Total Living Center.

A native of Gaston County, he was born March 29, 1942, to the late Woodrow and Flurida Glaze.

Donald was known for his kindness, faith, sense of humor, devotion to his family, and always with a camera. The extended family always speaks how they would never have any picture of themselves growing up if it wasn't for him always taking pictures. He adored his only Grandson Christian and loved watching him play baseball from an early age. He owned his own textile business- Don L. textiles until he retired.

Donald leaves behind his son, Larry Glaze and daughter in law Stacey Glaze, daughter Candace Glaze; grandson Christian Glaze, sister Orpha Ferguson. sister-in-law, Sue Moss, numerous of loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by death by his loving wife of 41 years, Nancy June Glaze, and brothers, Gene Glaze and Dean Glaze. 

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Stanley Total Living Center. Every single visit the staff always had something kind to say about him or laugh about something he said to them recently.

He was truly one of a kind and will be missed dearly.
