Donald Devan Edwards

August 16, 1941 — May 12, 2018

Donald Devan Edwards, 76, of Mt. Holly, passed away May 12, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born August 16, 1941 in Mecklenburg County, the son of the late Issac Kelly Edwards and Beatrice Jones Edwards.

Survivors include his loving wife, Ernestine Johnson Edwards; son, Kenneth Edwards; daughters, Angel Edwards, Donna Byrd, and Rhonda Edwards; grandchildren, Jerry, Tracey, Lena, Trey, Danielle, Jasmine and Nathaniel; great-grandchildren, Seth, Naomi, Mikie, Brandon Jr., Zaylan, Kahlia, Lucas, Lyrick, Ava and Holli.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Travis Edwards.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the residence.
