Donald Jerry "Don" Grant

Donald Jerry "Don" Grant, Sr., 79, of Gastonia, entered into his heavenly home on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017.

He was born in Rock Hill, SC on April 23, 1937 to Samuel Edward and Mary Kathleen Ford Grant, Sr.   He was a US Navy veteran and the owner of Don Grant Termite and Pest Control.   He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.   He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Michael Anthony "Mike" Grant; brothers, Samuel Edward Grant, Jr., David Lee Grant, James Walter Grant, and Connie Marvin Grant.

In addition to his wife of 58 years, Margaret Grant, He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Don Grant, Jr. and Tim Grant; daughter-in-love, Donna Grant; grandchildren, Alex Grant, Bailey Grant, Matt Grant, Seth Grant, and Chandler Grant, all of Gastonia, NC; nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Greene Funeral Service – West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, NC 28052.

A celebration of life service will follow at 7:00 pm.

Interment will be private.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
