Don Barry Pettus

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Don Barry Pettus, who left this world peacefully on May 26, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on August 28, 1959, in North Carolina, Don lived a life full of passion and dedication, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by those who loved him.

He had a deep love for woodworking and appreciation for nature. A devoted outdoor enthusiast, Don relished every opportunity to immerse himself in the beauty of the great outdoors. He found joy in fishing and simply exploring the natural world around him. These passions not only brought him joy but also created lasting memories with his family. He loved his grandchildren, they were the love of his life.

Don is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Summer Frisbee (Nathan); grandchildren, Kylie and Jacob Frisbee; brother, Richard Pettus; sister, Linda Copeland (Jerry).

Don was preceded in death by father, Tommy Pettus; mother, Sue Pettus Murphy; beloved wife, Lori Pettus.
