Dolores "Dee" Flowers Smart

Dolores "Dee" Flowers Smart, 81, of Belmont, passed away July 14, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
A Gaston County native, she was born July 1, 1937, daughter of the late John R. Flowers and Ferry Armstrong Flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rick Flowers.
Dee was retired from Western Sizzlin' and Market Street Buffet and Bakery after 32 1/2 years of service.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Timothy Smart of the home, Michael Smart and wife Mary Beth of Gastonia; brother, Bobby Flowers of Catawba Heights; niece, Barbara Conley and husband Danny of Belmont; nephews, Jeff Flowers of Gastonia, Tony, Wendel, and Andy Flowers of Indiana; great-niece, Ashley Flowers of Gastonia; great-nephew, Josh Smith and wife Carla of Gastonia; grandchildren, Kara Smart of Belmont, Danielle Lowery of Stanley, and Tyler Smart of Gastonia; great-grandchildren, Ashtyn and Braydyn Norris of Belmont; and good friends, Marilyn Reese of Mesa, AZ, Kathy Lowery of Stanley, Teresa Hodge of Belmont, and Cindy Ford of Dallas.
A graveside service will be held 3:30 pm on Thursday, July 19th at Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont.
