Dixie Barr

Dixie Sisk Barr, 72 of Lincolnton, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018, at Carolina's Medical Center, Charlotte.

She was born May 8, 1946, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Guy Burgin Sisk and Ruby Inez Sisk.

Dixie was a strong Christian who took pleasure in making others happy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Frank W. Barr, and predeceased her sister, Linda Payseur, by one day.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Melody Collier; grandchildren, Samuel Collier, Chelsea Inez Collier; great grandchildren, Nataleigh Collier, Leeiam Six; and caregiver, Jackie Haynes.

All services will be private.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
