Dianne Oglesby

Dianne Farmer Oglesby (Ma'Duke), 70' of Shelby, NC, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Belmont Health and Rehab.

She was born in Lee County, South Carolina to the late Robert and Ruby Farmer.

Dianne was a member of Hopper's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Shelby. She loved cooking, dancing, and entertaining family and friends. She especially loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John "Wankie" Oglesby; her brothers, Robert Farmer Jr., Freddie Lee Farmer, Ernest Farmer; sister, Mary Ann Farmer.

Dianne is survived by her son Frankie Farmer (Peggy); brothers, W.T. Farmer, Bobby Farmer; sister, Lola Farmer; grandsons, DeFranklin Sanchez Farmer, Jerricho Farmer; only granddaughter, Kadena Mautrice Farmer; seven great-grandchildren; special aunt, Valentine Doby; a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Robert E. Coleman will be held Friday, February 13, 2026, 2:00 pm, at Hoppers Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 415 W. Graham St. Shelby, NC 28150. Quiet hour will be one hour before the service.
