Diane Harbin Ward

Diane Harbin Ward, 59, of Bessemer City, passed away March 22, 2016 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

She was born October 11, 1956, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late Ray Clinton Harbin and Jane Wyont Harbin.

Diane was a life-time member of Puett's United Methodist Church.  She was a fantastic mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter Jodie Grose; daughter-in-law Lisa Natitus; grandchildren Kole Grose and Shelby Self; son Chad Ward; brother Dale Harbin and fiancé Dawn Fiore and niece Allison Harbin and significant other Ben Trudnak.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson Jack Crawford.

A celebration of Diane's life will be held 4 pm Friday at Puett's United Methodist Church, 3009 Puett's Chapel Road, Dallas, with the Rev. Cliff Wall officiating and special words from Lynn Stubblefield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ALS Association- Jim "Catfish" Hunter Chapter, 4 N. Blount Street Suite 200, Raleigh, NC 27601.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
